For many​ new ​mothers, it is a financial imperative to return to work. Or sometimes parenting is much harder than they expected and work is a better option. 

Good old grandma to the rescue. Unfortunately, this might not be what you anticipated or perhaps even want. Sometimes there is no choice. Often you won't get paid - or even appreciated.

Sadly, few parenting websites acknowledge the growing number of grandparents who face the challenges of child rearing - for a second time.  Rules are different, as are expectations of parents.
